Manage the quality in regular products.

• Being responsible for the hydraulic cylinder chrome plating and assembly audit with Japanese expats.
• Being responsible for process and product audit at in-house and hydraulic parts and assembly supplier.
• Being responsible for the incoming and in-process quality functions of the HE and DT lines (fabrication, machining, and casting parts).
• Ensure the 4M matrix is respected with regard to product or process changes, and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix.
• Capturing and analyzing the quality issues faced during incoming, assembly, and testing of the product on a regular basis, and their resolution through CAPA and QC techniques. Perform other duties, tasks, and responsibilities as assigned by management to support Komatsu's goals and objectives. Supplier Management and Development.
• Assign Supplier Quality targets and monitor the quality performance of suppliers to meet Komatsu objectives.
• Review, verify, and certify that supplier processes and controls are sufficient to achieve PPAP approval on all critical components prior to production.
• Benchmarking within the industry, both inside and outside Komatsu, to continuously challenge and further develop the supplier quality management processes.
• Perform data analysis and issue reports on supplier performance to ensure stakeholders meet and maintain expected quality levels.
• Conduct supplier quality audits, such as system and process audits like contamination, pressure tests (or) leak test audits, surface treatment, and painting on a regular basis, and the ability to determine the requirements.
• Develops quality standards and controls for suppliers. Builds and maintains partnerships with multiple suppliers. Team Management.
• Ensure daily meetings and routines to set priorities and manage the daily workload.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing the inspection process of all the components in the entire facility in CMM (Faro Arm, Laser Tracker, 3D scanner).
• Framing of a standard worksheet for imported, fabricated, casting components at the vendor's end.
• Team member -5's activities, KAIZEN, PDCA cycle, RIW, CPS.
• Core team member in the PID meetings.
• Core Team members in the MRC meeting.
• Resolved 777 body fabrication assembly-related issues at the customer end, which was a long-term pain.
• Responsible for machining and welding-related fixture issues.
• Framing of SWS for almost every component for its inspection, and forwarding the procedures to the respective parties systematically.
• Resolving day-to-day assembly-related or supplier issues over the acceptance or rejection of parts.
• Regularly going on-site for components auditing purposes.
• To remove any roadblocks that are hindering the process of inspection with my expertise on CMM,

• Inspect the job as per the customer's drawing.
• Inspect the job in the line and also in the final, like phasing and visual inspection.
• Give the report to the client as per the drawing and the sales order; draw the process layout as the operations.
• Monitor the customer complaints and the customer satisfaction level.
• Collect data on rejections and reworks from the shop, and tabulate them for further necessary actions. Based on the available periodic analysis, feedback is given to the respective vendors for corrective and preventive actions, and it is being monitored accordingly.
• Maintaining all QC traceable records for easy retrieval during audits by internal as well as external agencies. The audit schedule is prepared as per quality management for the buyers for follow-ups and monitored for corrective actions if not adhered to.
• Acting as a single window for handling all QC documents related to the receiving inspection department.
