• Understand design processes for vehicle components and systems
• Support design teams during Concept & Realization phases to meet Functional & Performance requirements
• Prepare feasibility sections and technical surfaces
• Provide packaging and feasibility engineering support for various aspects of design for IP, Roof, Pillars, Trunk and all Doors
• Participate in review and various meetings related to product development for understanding requirements
• Support building prototype of products for 3D printing
• Mediate between development & design team for feasible design

Onsite Experience: Sindelfingen, Germany (Multiple short-term visits)

• Good exposure of design studio's cross function teams,e.g Clay modeling , Monolithe Modeling, Einsteige Modeling
• Understanding and preparation of data for AMP, Model confirmation, 3D printing etc.

Responsibilities :

• Ensure overall product “Design for Performance” and “Design for Assembly” (including implementation into CAD of inputs with regard to results of simulation, tests and validation to meet performance criteria).
• At the end of a program or every phase, make appropriate capitalization documents (Lessons learned, Technical Reports) to feed/improve Product Line standards and guidelines.
• Capture design intent using effective methodology to fulfill the requirements of customer
• Communicate with customer for queries and design proposals, work estimation, task management
• Handle offshore team and deliver quality product
• Support in start from acquisition – Design phase (Proto-Serial-3D/2D), up to tool kick off
• Executing assignments by interacting with offshore SPDE
• Validate CAD Designers work against Product and Process Standards and Guidelines, and with DMU tool when necessary
• Console design for various versions with detail study of bills of materials
• Assembly and positioning of part according to the inputs given by customer
• Designing interfaces of parts with environmental parts
