With more than 12 years of professional experience in the hospitality sector in recruitment and HR, I held the position of Group Talent Acquisition Manager at Soneva, overseeing Soneva Fushi, Soneva Jani, Soneva Kiri, and HUB (the head office of Soneva in Bangkok) at the Preopening Resort Soneva Secret in the Maldives, a prominent luxury resort chain in the Maldives and Thailand. My responsibilities included formulating and executing sourcing strategies, recruiting a diverse pool of qualified candidates, and ensuring a positive experience for all applicants. Prior to my role at Soneva, I worked as a recruitment and retention manager at Siyam World, a pre-opening resort in the Maldives, as well as a cluster recruitment manager and HR specialist at The Small Maldives Island Co. (Amilla Fushi) and Finolhu resort in the Maldives. I successfully oversaw pre-opening recruitment activities, cultivated relationships with key stakeholders, and provided support for various HR operations and initiatives.
