~ Lead and manage the operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient and timely patient care.
~ Supervise a multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses, and paramedics, providing guidance on critical cases and treatment protocols.
~ Oversee triage and prioritize patient treatment based on medical urgency.
~ Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures in alignment with hospital standards.
~ Collaborate with other hospital departments for coordinated care, patient transfers, and inter-departmental communication.

~ Keep updated in terms of knowledge and new development in medical science by participating in academic activities, such as conferences, seminars, publications of articles undertaken by the hospital and as advised by the hospital management from time to time.

~ Participate in community initiatives/extension activities as undertaken by the hospital and as advised by the hospital.

~ Participate and conduct Medical audit assigned by the representatives of medical services or hospital management in consultation with clinical HODs,

~ Extend services as faculty with respect to companies education program, promoted by diplomat of national board (DNB) or national board of examinations (NBE).

~ Provide clinical assistance and consultation to the patients in accordance with set clinical practice in respective specialties.

~ Take decisions on how to treat the patients at the hospital and to prescribe medication relevant to the patient.

~ Render professional services independently to the best of ability and as per expertise.

~ Effectively delivering emergency medical care program, which is the first such 5 years degree program across UAE ~ Enhancing the Medical Care program performance.

~ Providing academic guidance and counseling to students.

~ Supervising and monitoring interns, Senior Residents and CMOs working in the Emergency department.

~ Coordinating end-to-end MCI inspections for Emergency Medicine department for undergraduate as well as Postgraduate courses, taking ownership of the required documentation.

~ Leading Emergency Medicine department in NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) approval.

~ Examining and analyzing reports to assess information and quickly diagnosing patients.

~ Diagnosing and treating acute life threatening conditions in both pediatric and adult patients.

~ Providing medical care and treatment for patients presenting with blunt trauma chest / abdomen, pelvis, extremities and head injury requiring neurosurgical intervention and other interventions such as CVP/ICD.

~ Following evidence based medicine and updated protocols while managing patients in emergency.

~ Admitting patients in casualty and emergency ICU and treating the patients with full responsibility.

~ Participating in management meetings as voice of medical staff.

~ Making SOPs and assisting in employee training & coaching regarding medical SOPs.

~ Coordinating medical staff schedules and processes.

~ Giving lectures, seminars and training to undergraduates & senior residents posted in Emergency department.
