2. Evaluated performance of last decade (2004-2014) of Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) Programme of Delhi to identify gaps/ challenges in retention of patients in continuum of HIV care to improve the service delivery during NACP-IV. Published in World Journal of AIDS, 2014.

Showcased by operational research that ‘Early Diagnosis of HIV in infants by DNA PCR should actually happen early enough for early initiation of Antiretroviral Treatment (ART) in HIV positive infants by 3 months of age to save lives’, when till such time nationally no such guidance existed. Published in Journal of Tropical Pediatrics ( UK), 2013

4. Operational research to improve outcome of TB/HIV coinfected patient: -A new model for cross-referrals between ICTCs, ART Centers and RNTCP facilities was developed & rolled out in May, 2012. The strategy reduced the number of patients who lost to follow-up during cross-referrals by 60% and enhanced ART initiation during TB treatment by 64% compared to NACP-III. Published in AIDS Care ( UK), 2012

5. Instrumental in planning, roll-out, and implementation of financial assistance scheme of Delhi Govt. for PLHIV & Children Affected By AIDS, including orphan children in 2010. The scheme has successfully entered into 10th year of its implementation & 5257 beneficiaries have been prospectively enrolled for cash transfers, including 5150 PLHIV, 107 AIDS orphans & 26 Children Affected by AIDS. Published Vulnerable Children & Youth Studies ( UK), 2012

6. Instrumental in development and roll out of Country’s First Toll Free 24X7 Telephone Post Exposure Prophyalxis Helpline to guide health care workers in case of occupational exposures to blood / body fluids, which is first in any developing country and third globally. The impact assessment of this helpline was published in Occupational Medicine (U.K.) in 2015.

7. Conducted a study in 100 private hospitals of Delhi in 2014 and showcased ‘policy makers’ about poor implementation of prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV programme in most of the private hospitals, which has policy implications for national & international policy makers. Published in AIDS care (2015).

8. Successfully completed the 12 weeks course ‘Principles of HIV & STD Research’ from University of Washington, USA in 2014 through NACO, Govt of India at New Delhi.
