  • I did clinical attachment in Trafford General Hospital, Manchester, under supervision and guidance of Dr. Dhirendra Allen. It was 2 weeks attachment program ( I did duties on weekends as well). I worked under Geriatrics Medicine.
  • We used to have regular meetings with multidisciplinary team every morning where team would discuss work-plan for respective patients for that day.
  • I watched and observed doctors of team putting intravenous cannulations, performing Dix hallpike manoeuvre, draw blood and regularly attended rounds with the team everyday . Assisted IMT1 on duty while he was trying to draw blood from patients.
  • I learnt and observed how to write and update patient progress notes and how discharges were made by the doctors. I regularly attended teaching lectures and audits held in the hospital, given by various doctors.
  • I also observed and learnt under the guidance of Dr. Frag Abouaesha over the weekends, where I attended rounds with the team and observed catherization of a patient with prostate cancer .
  • I also attended and observed 2 clinics under the guidance Dr. Ajith George as well -1) Endocrine clinic 2 ) Type 1 diabetes mellitus clinic.
