Responsible for On time, On spec, On Quality delivery of Bosch engine management system platform worth 150 mil Euros into Indian and Europe markets.

This role oversees the implementation of Bharat stage VI platform for the region India & Europe at all the 2wheeler customers and development of Bosch 2Wheeler Lambda sensor with volume of 2 million pieces per year. The role also involved close international collaboration with various international teams in Germany & North America for platform development.

• Was responsible for leading the team responsible for delivery of the Bharat stage 6 compliant 2Wheeler engine management systems for India & Europe.
• Technical lead for system engineering involving tasks related to- requirement management (functional, and non-functional), manage milestones requirements for customer delivery, requirement engineering for future value add functions and products.
• Broke down system requirements to component level and released them to component team in North America for development of Bosch 2Wheeler lambda sensor to meet Bharat stage 6 legislation requirements.
• Interpretation of worldwide emission legislation for deriving requirements to implement in the future platforms.
• Lead FMEA & Hazard analysis discussions for Bosch 2W EMS Platform

The role was a transition from an OEM system development to Tier 1 system development. Responsible for system engineering topics of Indian OEM Bajaj customer projects worth ___ :

• Customer requirements management for Bajaj European export, 3W & 4W models.
• Evaluated Technical risk for projects not meeting release criteria and suggested countermeasures.
• Refined customer requirements and broke down system requirements to sub-domains in collaboration with hardware, software, components and Safety experts.

Responsible for development of engine for TVS Jupiter BS4 with volume of 0.6 million per year to meet BSIV emission norms with 50% margin and multi supplier development to avoid supply risks. This involved either upgrading existing components or developing new components to improve performance and reduce emissions.

Responsibilities:

• Defined system specifications to meet engineering target of 50% in tailpipe emission without any impact on performance.
• Developed multiple suppliers for different components as part of product strategy.
• Work along with different departments as part of cross functional teams for vehicle series release.
