Responsibilities:

• Part owner and responsible for all design, engineering, and development activities from concept to final digital phase.
• Checking the feasibility for A-Class surfaces by considering DFM, DFA & texture requirements.
• Developing of master sections(2D) data for cockpit module considering engineering standards and regulations.
• Responsible for checking style, providing styling change feedbacks to meet all the requirement and HYUNDAI & KIA Standards to styling team.
• Preparation of DVP & DFMEA document for cockpit.
• Responsible for BOM creation and management in PLM
• Tooling feasibility & assembly feasibility check.

• Coordinating with supplier for tooling feasibility and providing styling feedback to styling team to meet tooling, graining and Fit & Finish with surrounding parts.
• Checking supplier CAD data, providing feedback to supplier for changes, ensuring CAD data readiness for milestone.
• Responsible for creation of various documents, reports, design review, etc.
• Received Stellar award for SP21i PE project
• Identified issues, analyzed information and provided solutions to problems.

Project : W501, S105, C110, C101

Platform: Team Center, CATIA V5

Responsibilities:

• Checking ergonomic, performance, safety, Mahindra technical specs, interference with environment, draft analysis on style received. Propose required sections with concept surface needed for style update to styling team.
• Creating documents like Interface Mapping, Design Concept Sheet (DCS), and technical sign-off for vender on board etc.
• Create engineering CAD data considering easy manufacturability, minimum use of sliders and lifters, less cycle time for assembly, no plastic defects on parts etc.
• Solves the concerns raise at different milestone by Architecture team, CAE, NVH, BIW and all interface team and perceived quality department etc.
• Benchmarking different vehicles, other Mahindra vehicles, same platform vehicle, and competitor vehicles.
• Carryover parts from existing vehicle and proposed for cost reduction. Proposed to have variable thickness from 2.2mm to 2.8mm for weight reduction.
• Received patent award on innovative idea “Cross Car Beam with Local Brackets in Vehicle” P. A. No. 201741046988.Received spot cash award for C110 for clearing all CAE requirements with less iterations

Responsibilities:

• Converting 2D drawings into 3D models on CATIA V5.
• Non-Parametric model to Parametric Model.
• Drafting 3D models with detailed dimensioning and section views for manufacturability and to update regular engineering changes.
• Perform Draft analysis and Create Parting Line.
