Worked with a CDS Empower software, which is used in the areas of life sciences and biotechnology.
Played a pivotal role in the successful upgrade of Empower CDS from version FR2 to FR5, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless transition and significant improvements in system performance. Currently, I am working on the upgrade from Empower CDS FR5 to Empower 3.8.1, focusing on optimising features, enhancing user experience, and ensuring system stability for future scalability.
Developed and executed comprehensive system, integration, and user acceptance test cases to thoroughly assess and validate system integrity, ensuring optimal performance and reliability post-installation.
Managed multiple projects from initial design to final implementation on the technical side, such as Sotax.
Responsible for all follow-up communications with the business line users to ensure that they were aware of the status of their reported service needs, including verification of completion, and that they were satisfied with the results.
Implement the new vendor release in the global environments, perform the impact analysis, troubleshoot the installation technical issues, collaborate with the vendors, and establish an error-free deployment process.
Managed the setup for over 10 sites, overseeing tasks such as distribution point setup, Lace deployment, and instrument configuration to ensure seamless implementation and system readiness.
Proficient in handling a wide range of laboratory chromatographic instruments, including HPLC, GC, and UHPLC systems from leading brands such as Agilent, Waters, Hitachi, Shimadzu, and Perkin Elmer.
Configured Citrix workspace in test, validation, and production environments.
Installed and upgraded instrument drivers in LAC/e and Citrix servers, enabling lab users to access new features and operate the latest instruments through the Empower application, hosted in a Citrix environment. Additionally, I developed test cases to validate the functionality and performance of the installed and upgraded instrument drivers.
Delivered technical training sessions for staff, enhancing team competence in system operations and maintenance.
Responsible for overseeing Incident, Problem, Knowledge, and Change Management processes within a validated environment, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and continuous system reliability.
Proficient in Empower Administrator activities, including project creation, user management, data backup and restoration, system and node configuration, ensuring seamless operation and data integrity.
Monitored system performance and reliability, proactively identifying potential issues and implementing preventive measures to ensure high availability.
