- As a part of my internship program, I have gained knowledge in the assessment and management of adult language disorders, child language disorders, voice disorders, fluency disorders, and swallowing disorders.
- I have gained experience in a multidisciplinary approach to treatment (ENT, Neurology, Pediatrics, Psychology) as part of the curriculum.
- I worked in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center (PMRC) as part of an internship program in providing therapy for adults with language disorders, motor speech disorders, and swallowing disorders.
- Participated in Speech and Hearing Camps in a rural camp set up (Suttur, Karnataka), hospital setup (Chamarajanagar), and school screening (Belagola, Karnataka).
- Practiced in a special school setup (Sahana School, Mysore) in providing therapy for the pediatric population with ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disability, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, and hearing impairment.
- Participated in the newborn hearing screening program and detailed audiological evaluation for pediatric patients, including aided audiometry and auditory brainstem response.
- Carried out pure tone audiometry, speech audiometry, and vestibular evoked myopotential testing among different age populations.
- I worked in a high-risk neonatal follow-up clinic (Belaku Clinic, Mysore) as part of the curriculum.
- I participated in hearing aid programming and assisted with cochlear implant surgery.
