Inside Sales:

• Handle incoming customer inquiries and RFQs (Request for Quotations).
• Prepare and send technical and commercial proposals for valves and associated products.
• Assist the sales team with pricing, product selection, and application support.
• Maintain updated product knowledge to support client needs effectively.
• Follow up on quotes and actively support conversion to orders.

Order Management:

• Receive and process customer purchase orders.
• Review orders for accuracy and confirm pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with production, planning, and logistics teams to ensure on-time delivery.
• Track order progress and provide updates to customers proactively.
• Manage changes in order schedules and ensure smooth communication between internal teams and clients.

Pre-order stage (Quotation/offer preparation):

• Responsible for technical guidance on valve selection and application to customers.
• Analysed customer requirements and matched them with appropriate valve solutions.
• Analysed customer processes and systems to recommend the most suitable valve solutions, considering pressure, temperature, flow rates, and media compatibility factors.
• Engaged with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on valve applications.
• Worked with quality assurance teams to address any compliance or quality issues related to valve requirements.
• Closely worked with the design team to customise valves according to specific customer needs or unique operational environments.
• Developed and reviewed technical specifications and requirements.
• Assisted in pre-sales activities such as product demonstrations and technical presentations.
• Offered post-sales support, including submission of installation and operational manuals and maintenance recommendations.

Post order stage (Order processing / Contract managing:

• Preparing order acknowledgement concerning the purchase order after reviewing the contractual agreement and ensuring that all required details are entered into the ERP system.
• Conducting kick-off meetings with various departments in order to set goals for executing the project.
• Preparing a production schedule and tracking the activities to ensure for successful completion of the project as per thecommitted delivery.
• Ensuring the project drawings and documents are prepared and submitted for approval as per the contract agreement.
• Follow up with the customer for review and approval.
• Coordinating with the design team for any design change requests from customers.
• Follow up on production and keep customer/agent informed regarding delivery status.
• Responsible for maintaining project records and complete documentation.
• Review of job casting after completion of projects.
• Experienced in working with worldwide engineering firms (Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Nuberg Engineering, Worley, Thyssenkrupp) and users like IOCL, Supreme Petrochem & Haldia Petrochemicals.
