PROJECTS
Diageo – JIRA To ADO Migration

• Successfully migrated all projects from Atlassian Jira to Azure DevOps, encompassing work items such as stories, issues, tasks, and more
• Utilized the open-source tool Solidify to facilitate the export of data from Jira and the subsequent import of work items into Azure DevOps
• Configured JSON files in alignment with specific project requirements to ensure seamless migration
• Developed a VSB script to keep the system active during the time-consuming import/export process, which typically spanned 3-4 days for large projects
• Actively monitored the execution of import/export commands, promptly addressing any runtime exceptions or failures
• Thoroughly investigated the entire process, including configuration files, commands, Jira fields, and Azure DevOps (ADO) fields in case of issues
• Leveraged the Zephyr Squad Plugin in Jira for test case management, compensating for its lack of support in the Solidify tool
• Ensured functional adaptability of Azure DevOps to accommodate the migrated data effectively
• Conducted thorough file-level checks on individual work items after the post-migration process
• Handled daily updates of delta increments in Jira provided by the client, migrating the corresponding work items to Azure DevOps on a daily basis
• Identified and manually deleted duplicate or improperly migrated work items, requiring a day of dedicated effort for identification
• Developed manual scripts to perform necessary tasks when certain functionalities were not supported by the automated tooling
• Monitored pre- and post-migration reports to track progress and promptly identify any issues or challenges during the migration process

Java Open Source Competency – R & D

• As a part of java COE teams, worked on various technologies and contributed to multiple projects
• The purpose is to do research on emerging technologies and tools, do a complete PoC, and deliver the PoC’s to project unit and help them to implement in real time environment
• Did POC on DevOps life cycle for build and deploy using various CI/CD Tools
• POC Docker and Kubernetes integration with DevOps
• Worked on Terraform.
