  • Responsible for designing and developing automobile plastic, casting & Sheet metal parts from concept stage to production by using CATIA V5(Part design, Assembly, Surface design, Sheet metal) considering the tooling feasibility, cost-cutting concepts to meet the robust design and weight
  • Managing RFQ CAD activities, proposing new concepts, and using standard design when required
  • Participate in design reviews with suppliers throughout each phase of new parts. Discussing the technical problems and their solutions with the project manager.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and develop vehicle-specific implementations. Propose solutions when the team required
  • Designing the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) while considering hardware requirements. Checking creepage, and clearance for mechotronic products.
  • Create 2D drawings appropriate for high-volume production and inspection methods. allocating tolerance based on stack-up results and cost basis.
  • Ensuring all 3D models and detail drawings as per standards and responsible for defining SPPC for critical area dimensions.
  • Maintaining BOM of the product and managing the product and its related data in PLM and releasing
  • Responsible for creating assembly instructions and best practice documents.
  • Providing support for process team to help identify and resolve issues.
