Responsibilties

• Designed and implemented rules-driven tax calculation logic using Pega Decision tables, trees, and when rules to support complex and region-specific taxation workflows.
• Developed a secure OAuth-based service REST API to expose tax services to external resort booking and contract platforms.
• Configured and parameterized data pages to dynamically fetch location and user-based rates.
• Utilized rule delegation to allow tax rates to be easily modified by businesses as per regulation changes.
• Implemented automated unit tests to validate accuracy across various scenarios for first-time buyers, and others.
• Done code reviews, ensuring adherence to enterprise and Pega guardrails.
