• Handling customs processes across multiple countries by managing HS codes and paperwork to ensure timely clearance and avoid storage charges.
• Tracking and resolving shipment exceptions, including delays, lost cargo, damages, and misroutes.
• Handling carrier claims to recover money for lost, damaged, and misdelivered shipments.
• Reconciling freight and tax invoices from all carriers and coordinating with finance for accurate and timely payments.
• Acting as the main customer-facing point for all logistics-related queries and escalations.
• Creating shipments in carrier systems and maintaining MIS and tracking data.

• Requested quotations, issued purchase orders, and coordinated with finance and the supplier to ensure timely payment and dispatch.
• Tracked order progress against agreed lead times, and pushed vendors when deadlines were at risk.
• Checked packaging and shipment readiness to ensure orders met shipping and carrier requirements.
