Caterpillar Engineering Automation Project

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Prepared and maintained manual test case documents for various applications and kept them updated with their latest requirements. Operated under Agile and Scrum frameworks to complete releases and well-organized sprints. Planning of delivery requirements into test plan schedules, test cases and delivery. Made sure that applications are defect free for Production Release.
• Satisfied customers/end users by providing quick support to issues faced by them while using application and resolved their issues. Also guided end users in usage of application and earned appreciations from clients and users.
• Teamed on planned tests and time-sensitive ad hoc requests on new requirements. Collaborated with product owners to stay current on intended functionalities of applications and their latest updates.
• Coordinated with onsite team during production release of all applications and tested them after production deployment ensuring that applications are working as expected. Coordinated with onsite team in various environment related maintenance activities and supported them.

• Prepared test cases for new applications and existing modules. Optimized test cases to maximize success of manual software testing with consistent, thorough approaches for all tools. Collaborated with product owners to stay updated on intended functionalities and latest updates of all applications.
• Performed Regression Testing for applications and made sure existing functionalities and latest updates are delivered defect free. Collaborated with QA team to test software quality through manual testing.
• Carried out tests to identify, report and repair bugs and glitches. Monitored resolution of bugs, tested fixes and helped developers tackle ongoing problems by providing QA perspective. Documented testing procedures for developers and future testing use.
• Operated under Agile and Scrum frameworks to complete releases and well-organized sprints. Incorporated delivery requirements into planning of testing schedules.

Caterpillar Engineering Automation Project

This project involves automating various engineering tools used by engineers in their various day to day activities under one platform in order to reduce their manual work and increase their efficiency and productivity.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Involved in requirement gatherings with customers and prepared business requirement documents, functional requirement documents, user stories, wire frames and acceptance criteria.
• Conducted Sprint grooming sessions in planning project development activities and presenting tool workflow wire frames to customer.
• Provided on time updates on project delivery to customer. Streamlined communication between offshore, onsite team in cascading requirements to developers and also conducted scrum calls.
• Acted as project support coordinator and managed team. Involved in performing various project management related activities like Project delivery, Team Management, Project billing and leave management activities.

Office Depot E-Commerce Project

This project involves handling of various customers and clients across USA, UK and Canada. Handling their Product deliveries, assisting in various payment issues and involved in Business Growth and Revenue Maximization of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Provided assistance to US, UK & Canadian Clients in dealing Product Delivery service issues, Payment issues like fraudulent transactions in their account. Worked on special process called Same Day Delivery which aims at resolving various issues of client at quicker pace.
• Streamlined payment process by Identifying suspicious activities like fraudulent transaction activities in client accounts and minimized risks at different levels using various tools.
• Ensured good customer experience by solving product delivery service failures, various payment issues & product failures and avoided business losses.
• Also helped in analyzing various trends in unauthorized activities on customer accounts and suggested various ideas for optimization of business. Contributed subject matter expertise to monthly review meetings, recommended process improvements for entire department.
