• The project is based on application and production support. The current area of functionality includes SWIFT (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Alliance Messaging Hub) and SIDE, which are critical applications for financial institutions. SWIFT applications are designed to connect single or multiple bank destinations to the SWIFT Network for financial message flow. This system enables banks to process electronic payments in an effective and efficient manner.

Roles & Responsibility

• Support and maintenance of SWIFT (Alliance Access, Alliance Gateway, and Alliance Messaging Hub) and SIDE.
• Worked on routing rule changes in SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA).
• Planned BCP activations for multiple SWIFT applications at the same time with successful execution.
• Implementing BAUs such as SWIFT, MQ Client, and server remediation.
• Good exposure to FIN, Interact, and FileAct services of SWIFT and ACH.
• Successfully planned, coordinated, and implemented SWIFT BCP tests of failover, failback, and stay.
• Lead multiple projects involving the creation of firewall rules, Citrix icons, F5 links, Autosys jobs, tomcat setup on servers, etc.
• Collaborating with multiple teams until deployment.
• Worked on creating change management as per request and executing it according to the attached plan.
• Autosys - We create jobs for starting and stopping applications, as well as for multiple scheduled scripts.
• HPOO - the stopping and starting of applications, as well as patching, is dependent on Autosys jobs.
• Splunk - worked on creating a new index and source type, and adding logs to it from multiple environments.
• AppDynamics - CPU and memory, as well as database calls, will be monitored.
• Confluence - Created pages for knowledge sharing and wrote articles on the application process for new joiners.
• Venafi Certificate tool - Worked on creating new certificates, such as MQ certificates, Java certificates, as well as their deployment.
• Messaging Queue - IBM MQ - Monitoring of the respective queue manager and its channel queues.

Customer: Raw Bank, BGFI, Bank of Maldives

Description: Involved in development CTS (Cheque Truncation System), ACH credits and RTGS with respect to SWIFT International messages for Raw bank. The project includes 3 flows i.e. Outward Clearing, Inward Clearing and Internal Clearing for both CTS and ACH credit and for RTGS there is only outward and inward settlement. Handled SWIFT messages types of MT 103, MT 202, MT 999 etc., Contribution in the project is from requirement gathering to deployment and Support, Currently project is in Support stage.

Technologies: Java, SOAP Web Services, Struts, Hibernate and deployed on Tomcat and Web Logic.

• Requirement gathering and development as per bank with respective to message structure this depends on country either Y-Copy and V-mode.
• After configuration of application with the core banking system. Testing is done which is SIT as per flows given in FSD.
• Good Knowledge in Message that are used for the RTGS as per Swift Y-copy are MT 0 series, MT 1 series and MT 2 series and MT 9 series.
• Good Knowledge in Message that are used and worked for Cheque processing and Ach processing Pac's messages like Pac's.008(Credit message), Pac's.005(debit message), Pac's 002(Acknowledgement message), and pacs004(Return message).
• Updated existing software to resolve errors and adapt it to new performance requirements.

Customer: State Bank of India (India)

• Involved in Development of NEFT message processing for State Bank of India.
• Worked on return message and dashboard for monitoring.
• Familiar with SFMS payment flow and its messages.
