I've spent over a decade helping technology companies find their voice — whether that meant launching a product into a new market, rebuilding a brand from scratch, or forging alliances with the likes of IBM, Samsung, and Adobe. I genuinely love the craft of marketing: the storytelling, the strategy, the obsessive attention to what makes someone stop and pay attention. The past couple of years brought a different kind of challenge — and a genuinely unexpected learning. I chose to step back to welcome my second daughter and to homeschool my elder one, following the philosophy that children learn best when you follow their curiosity rather than impose a plan. You don't decide what they should want to know. You stay open, pay attention, and figure out how to meet them where they are. It turns out that's not so different from what I've always believed about marketing. The best campaigns don't force a message — they listen first. That time also gave me something I didn't expect — a chance to unlearn. Kids don't care about how things are supposed to be done, and somehow that rubs off on you. I came back seeing things a little differently, and I think that's a good thing. I return with more patience, better instincts, and a lot of energy.
My second daughter was born in May 2024. During this time, I stepped away from work completely—no half presence, no side projects. I homeschooled my elder one, followed her curiosity, and gave this season of life the attention it deserved. Now the girls are settled, and I'm ready. Really ready.
Hired as Head of Marketing, I found myself taking on far more within three months — and leaned into it. I ended up running two departments simultaneously: building the entire marketing function from the ground up while owning operations strategy as the company scaled its global digital commerce footprint.
This period was two things at once — consulting work that kept my marketing sharp, and a yoga venture I built from scratch.
I ran my own small studio, taught at two others, and worked alongside two doctors — contributing to their patients' holistic wellbeing. I also took private yoga sessions with the Head of Cancer Surgery at HCG Hospital. It was a privilege, and a good reminder that everyone needs to slow down sometimes. I ran corporate wellness programmes, and started a YouTube channel (theHappYogii, 57 subscribers and counting) to take the practice beyond the room.
