Litigation Management:

• Composed and finalized essential documents for filing across various courts, forums, and tribunals nationwide.
• Oversee and manage all litigation matters across Karnataka.

SARFAESI Act:

• Draft and execute notices under Section 13(2), respond to objections under Section 13(3), and enforce actions under Section 13(4) of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.
• Draft and vet applications under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002.

Legal Documentation and Compliance:

• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, notices, and pleadings.
• Draft and respond to notices issued under Section 91 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) or Section 94 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS), and by customers, to protect the company's interests.

Contract Management

• Managing end-to-end contract process, which includes drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing various corporate agreements such as master service agreements, vendor agreements, sub-contracting agreements, emergency tie-up agreements, SaaS agreements, non-disclosure agreements, SOWs, and MOUs, as well as actively participating in contract negotiations to facilitate closure.

• Proof-reading, redlining, preparing internal policy for contract management and SOPs, negotiation on legal clauses.
• Offering practical and risk-focused guidance on variety of intricate legal matters, encompassing data privacy, confidentiality, intellectual property, termination rights, and available legal remedies pertaining to contracts.

Litigation

• Overseeing litigations and arbitrations involving customers, vendors, and employment disputes, which includes tasks like drafting, vetting, and reviewing legal documents, collecting relevant documents, and collaborating with external lawyers and law firms to ensure efficient case management.
• Performing risk assessments and offering legal counsel to business teams, which encompasses preparing legal notices, agreements, and responses to communications from regulatory bodies such as PC-PNDT, Banks & NBFC's, ART Board, and Drug Inspectors under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act.

Internal Advisory

• Conducting risk assessments, collaborating with the Risk and Compliance team, and providing guidance to various internal teams on daily legal matters, including offering legal advice and assistance in cases of data breaches.
• Providing guidance to internal stakeholders on the interpretation of laws and agreements, including the DPDP Act 2023, and creating a reference note. Additionally, revising the Company's Privacy Policy to align it with the DPDP Act 2023 and implementing substantial changes in the process of obtaining patient consent.

• Drafting of Special Leave Petitions for cases U/s 138 Negotiable Instruments Act.
• Research pertaining to Bonafide Necessity under Section 14 (1) (e) of the Delhi Rent Control Act.
