NURSING
Bhubaneswar

Summary

I have been serving as a Nursing Faculty at AIIMS Bhubaneswar, one of India's premier central government institutes, since 2018. My academic journey began in my hometown, where I worked as a Tutor at Sr. Morch School of Nursing. I then progressed to roles as Lecturer and Assistant Professor at Laxmi Memorial College of Nursing, one of the leading nursing institutions in Mangalore. Being part of an Institute of National Importance, my current role offers a broad and dynamic scope for research that is both need-based and aligned with national health priorities. I have actively contributed to various institutional committees, including the Website Committee and the Curriculum Committee, where I played a role in revising and updating the nursing syllabus to align with current clinical and educational needs. I have also served as a team member in the "Training the Trainer" program for Substance Use Disorders, a national initiative funded by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India. In addition, I am a member of the Counseling and Wellness Center (CWC), dedicated to suicide prevention and mental health support among students. Over the past seven years, I have gained diverse clinical experience across multiple settings, including Intensive Care Units (ICU), Radiology, Psychiatry, and Community Health. I have strived to publish high quality papers and earned myself an H- index over 11 and i10 index of 11. I have been invited as an speaker to share my research knowledge in Other INA across the country . At the height of the coronavirus pandemic in April 2020 to July 2021, I answered the call from the AIIMS Bhubaneswar and returned to clinical service to serve as a frontline nurse.

Proactive and caring worker with 15 years of experience combined with communication strengths and good observational skills. Skillfully handles day-to-day activities while looking for opportunities to make a difference.
