• Build the strategy to create a profitable loan book for lending business vertical
• Conceptualizing and implementing the lending product
• Liaising with Banks, NBFCs and credit bureaus, tech providers and managing the business relationship
• Collaborate closely with accounts, technology, operations and the credit team
• Identifying and creating new business lending opportunities and partnerships
• Responsible for the new initiatives, strategic alliances & partnerships pertaining to lending vertical.
• Developing a pipeline of value-added customer solutions to include customer experience, products, and service offerings
• Collaborate and engage with compliance, legal, Risk & Underwriting teams to ensure a compliant and robust portfolio.

Investments –

• Briefs members of the Advisory Board and the Investment Committee on proposed investment opportunities
• Present investment proposals to the Investment Committee
• Developing the outlook, corresponding investment theses, and asset allocation
• Review all performance of investment portfolio and prepare required report for management in accordance to company policies
• Communicating a viewpoint of the economy and markets
• Performing qualitative and quantitative research to select investments
• Performing manager due diligence across asset classes
• Works with Angel networks and funds to structure and negotiate transactions
• Monitor all investments for organization and ensure efficiency in working
• Developing efficient investment processes and procedures
• Liaising with banks and NBFCs for debt infusion raise for the lending vertical.

• Conducting market research on the industry and gather market intelligence to enhance management of funds
• Collating detailed, up-to-date information about the economy and financial markets
• Researching companies, particularly in terms of their financial functioning
• Analyzing company accounts, profit and loss sheets and cash flow information
• Examine and assess economic and market trends, earnings prospects, financial statements and various other indicators and factors to determine suitable investment strategies
• Compile advisory reports and make informed recommendations on new investment opportunities and funds that could enhance or diversify portfolios
• Analyzing company accounts and financial projections and advise the company on how to best position its investments
• Participating in financial briefing provided by the investment managers and analysts internally and externally.

• Understanding the Gems and Jewellery industry in India
• Visiting jewelers, miners and bankers
• Understanding the various research report published by World Gold Council and Metal Focus
• Understanding the various issues faced by different sizes of jewelers
• Understanding various bill related issues faced by jewelers because of GST
• Collecting the cash price and bill price quoted by jewelers in different cities
• Making report on the basis of discussion with various market participants

• Understanding the working of Commodity markets in India
• Understanding the working processes of the Commodity division of Muthoot Fincorp Ltd
• Keep a daily update of Soybean & Castor seed futures price
• To learn how to do a research and do analysis of data and draw the conclusion
• Collecting spot prices of various Agri-commodities
• To predict the futures price fluctuation level of the commodity depending upon the fundamental and historical price pattern and give margin calls accordingly
• To understand the cautious price levels
• Studying the financial statements for the loans proposals (warehouse-receipts).

• Closely tracking physical market
• Identifying and tracking changes or trends
• Engaged in compiling, collating and gathering financial, commodity market & macro environment data from various sources and reports, both local & global, from industry associations, trading service platforms, government, stock exchanges etc
• Analyze such data and make forecasts of demand & supply based on reasonable assumptions and observed trends and their impact on prices
• Formulate recommendations and deliver value added financial information within the Gems and Jewellery Industry that use to assist our customers in their business
