Track competitive pricing, analyze trends, identify opportunities & provide strategic pricing recommendations
Work closely with Sales team to interpret customers’ requirements and offer solution that maximize profitability and add value to customer
Perform proactive data analysis and identification of price improvement opportunities including sales, profitability, customer strategies, etc
Responsible for working across supplier’s new and revised price book, processes, analysis, and update
Also, identifying new part number for part build
Daily work management and execution of performance reporting operations activities
Responsible for all employee performance management activities including supervision, goal setting, ongoing performance communication, employee engagement, development, review, and mentoring
Workflow analysis and process improvements
Identify and implement automation opportunities in process
Identify and investigate price discrepancies through interaction with supplier and Mouser supplier Manager
Review existing price agreements and initiate updates and changes as required
Study customer Bill of Material and maximize profitable business by crossing products with best suitable replacements
Send out RFQs and contact Manufacturers, factories, and representatives to obtain best cost information when necessary
Develop, maintain effective working relationship with various vendor representatives
Collect and analyze quotation data to determine patterns of success and failure
Assist others in Quotation department in price quoting and perform other duties
Co-ordinate and drive meetings with team to ensure that issues and concerns are addressed and bring stability to team
Communicate regularly with department head, other managers, and other designated contacts within organization
Instrumental in identifying suitable resource, on-board and train them to align with team's expectation
Conducting performance evaluations and career development discussions.
