• Partner closely with Trading, Risk, Middle Office, and Technology teams to ensure accurate valuation and timely close.
• Drive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP / IFRS.
• Manage balance sheet substantiation, ledger integrity, and audit deliverables.
• Lead automation initiatives reducing manual touchpoints, improving accuracy and turnaround time.
• Build and lead a team of 8+ product controllers, focusing on talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

Achievements: Worked for 6 months in Tokyo, thereby gaining exposure to the hub's roles and responsibilities, such as weekly revenue presentations to the desk, new product discussions, and closely working with Legal Entity and Regulatory Reporting controllers.

• Produced daily P&L reports for diverse products within fund, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Calculated and reported NAV daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly with thorough reconciliations among fund administrator, manager, and prime broker.
• Executed front-to-back trade reconciliations between fund administrator and prime broker to uphold integrity.
• Ensured accurate accounting of valuation, trading, and non-trading expenses across all funds.
• Prepared year-end financial statements for various funds to facilitate audit processes.
