Description: This was the big umbrella project for all PnL related Kpis for UBS. It was built to help the finance controller to keep an eye on daily PnL numbers at the end of the day and probe for variances in detail reports of Power BI. Kyligence as OLAP layer helped in accelerating the reports performance by using AI engine underneath.

Under ADA I am working on CID Data handling for Red Zone. I have started building the product as Power BI dashboard to be used in conjunction with MEG2 to enable the tracking of MEG2 objects in dashboard.

Program Name: Optima Migration from Basel 2 to Basel 3

Role: Project Manager/Technical Architect

Description: This program was divided into many project which were intended to deliver 2500 reports in 6 months of time span migrating from Basel 2 to Basel 3.

Program Name: Retail Risk Reporting

Role: Project Lead and people manager

Description: This project was built to track the various risk factors in Retail Risk using Cognos Visualization layer, where I was managing the data modelling, Reporting views creation in Teradata andthen build Cognos dashboards for Business users.

Program Name: METLIFE Insrance Repprting

Role: Technical Lead

Tools/Technologies: Cognos, Sybase

Description:

This project was supposed to implement a state-of-the-art data warehouse and to keep business operations running full speed ahead during the implementation phase. The changes in the data warehouse required adjustments in the IBM Cognos Analytics front end, as well as in the interfaces and reports.

• End to End ownership and Accountability of Development, QA and delivery of METLIFE Insurance project in Cognos.
• Trained and mentored junior developers and engineers, teaching skills in Cognos and working to improve overall team performance.
• Worked with project managers, developers, quality assurance and customers to resolve technical issues.
• Led software development initiative as subject matter expert and primary point-of-contact for project management staff.

• Estimated work hours and tracked progress using Agile methodology.
• Designed and developed forward-thinking systems that meet user needs and improve productivity by using Business Objects and Cognos reporting tools.
