  • Note: Some key IIC members are known to me/ my family:
  • Members of the Board of Trustees include Shri Shyam Saran and Dr Meenakshi Gopinath.
  • Executive Committee: Shri K. Padmanabhaiah; the Advisory Council: Dr Deepak Nayyar, Justice Rohinton Nariman, Ms Geeta Chandran and Shri Ravi Singh.
  • Editorial Board: Dr Karan Singh.
  • Most have already signed off on the recommendations for the permitted number of persons, and it is a little late to rush some of them to do so. My fault
  • Using the facilities of IIC: My wife and I have been using it for the past five decades.
  • In the early 1970s, I was the President of the Delhi Junior Chamber and had most of our meetings at the IIC.
  • Our family home on Prithviraj Road is within walking distance of IIC, and one can see the buildings during a morning walk in Lodhi Gardens.
  • It will be easier to interact with other members as a member of IIC.
  • I have missed using the Library at IIC and have also been unable to attend some programs when my driver is not present, especially at the Kamala Devi Complex Multi-Purpose Hall, due to parking issues.
  • I will be incredibly happy to see IIC getting a Griha Green Certification and an IGBC Net Zero certification. I am aware that IIC is working hard towards renewable energy and energy efficiency, but it needs to do more for IAQ and to get a third-party certification. I was able to persuade Ambassador Bhaswati Mukherjee, former Chair of IHC, to get it.
