• Smartship

• Designed shopclues checkout funnel which involves product addition to the cart and navigating through the process of user modifications to the cart , making payment using various available payment methods from Prepaid to COD and finally generating orders in the system. In addition to defining the API based architecture for all the involved components (Product , Cart , Promotion , Payment , Orders) , also provided insight on the system architecture segregating the objects from models and system.
• Revamped the entire promotion flow, making it an optimized and robust application; Used three different and rich sub-systems (queuing , search , Kibana) to validate/track all the requests into the system , publishing them to the queue, updating the required system assets and logging in case of failure or empty response.
• Conceptualized the order system to make it scalable and error free; separating the tasks performed during order status transition into Sync and Post. As with the earlier system where all the tasks were performed at the runtime; new system runs on the task efficacy.
• A state based platform for the merchants as well as for internal users to upload the products which are going to run on deal / Promotions. Campaigns are created and goes through state based process initiating from Merchants to upload the products and subsequently accepted / rejected / added at later stages by other users during various state transition before campaign is pushed Live.
• Analyzing the business requirements and providing an imaginary view to make the developer understand the requirement correctly.Entrusted in creating both functional as well as technical documentation of architecture design to various levels of detail and conducting formal training sessions.

Rightster platform (Genesis) enables the centralised storage and management of digital assets, including videos, images and other files, for all stages of content development, production and distribution.
• Ingest: Scanning the ftp location to pick the content , creating encoded versions and uploading the same to storage location Like edgecast , amazon s3.
• Dynamic Playlist: Implemented dynamic playlist using predefined criteria like categories , tags , title and description content to eliminate the need of updating the embed code of the video content.
• Caching: Adding memcache support to the platform. Conceptualized and implemented the cache key manager for validating the cache content whenever data is modified.
