  • Synthesis and applications of gold based nanomaterials utilizing selective metals as reducing agent.
  • Established redox mediated approach for the synthesis of gold-zinc oxide, gold-iron oxide and gold-manganese oxide with interesting morphologies and properties such as magnetic properties, improve crystallinity and catalytic efficiency, uniform deposition, controllable size and composition within the nanocomposites.
  • Designed new synthetic strategy for anisotropic gold nanoprism and investigated role of various reaction parameters using time dependent absorbance studies.
