Roles and Responsibilities:

• Attending biweekly sprint planning meetings with team and planning testing efforts for sprint.
• Going through SRS document and understanding task requirements before writing test cases.
• Discussing with product teams if any queries regarding requirements or application behavior.
• Writing comprehensive test cases which can be further extended to run automation.
• Getting test cases vetted by product team and highlight if any dependencies before commence testing.
• Testing features which are committed for that sprint and reporting defects.
• Performing sanity, regression, smoke and adhoc tests.
• Conducting regular sanity checks to ascertain environment stability.
• Involving in defect triage with product teams and doing RCA for defects raised and assigning them to concerned teams based on whether bug is caused due to front end, back-end, content, editorial or API issue.
• Modifying assets in CMS and validating those changes in application.
• Validating events schema when user performs specific actions with in application.
• Tampering API requests and responses using charles proxy to test specific scenarios which cannot be directly deployed to production.

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Attending daily scrum call with various stake holders and plan testing efforts for sprint.
• Understanding application/system back-end Architecture.
• Going through back end solution approaches for tasks and estimate risk analysis.
• CMS Administration and Testing.
• Integration Testing with third party applications like Airtel, Vodafone, Rail yatri, SBI YONO etc.
• Conducting regular checks on Payment Gateway API's like Billdesk, Adyen, Google, Apple, Mife, Juspay, Amazon pay, Paytm etc.
• Spoof testing on Akamai routings using network monitoring tools like postman and fiddler.
• Cache testing on multiple web servers
• Conducting environment Sanity test as build deploys into Testing environment..
• Doing Functional, Re-testing and regression testing after bug fixing.
• Conducting sanity and regression test after build moves to Production.
• Doing Performance test on Back-end APIs using JMeter/Artillery.
• Mobile performance testing for parameters such as battery, memory, page load times, app load time, install size, download size using Game bench.
• Doing Benchmark Testing with other alike applications and identify areas to improve application performance.
• Running Monkey tests on multiple OEMs and OS versions to observe App crash issues.
• Verification and validation of data against Database when there are any changes in Database schema.
• Validating users data in data analytic tools like Google Analytics, QGraph, Coviva and Appsflyer.
• Migrating and handling ALM tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Writing automation scripts for tiny repetitive tasks like validating API schema using python and flask library.
• Automating few front end UI tasks and updating daily time sheets using Selenium web driver.
