Erwin Data Intelligence is a product of Quest and I have been working extensively on this product for the past 6 years. I have been involved mainly in
Pre-Sales: Have been the primary point of contact to demonstrate the capabilities of our automation framework for any ETL, BI and SQL technologies.
Design: Once the smart connector has been purchased, the project plan will be discussed with the clients daily. Will have frequent interactions with their architect to understand their environment and customize the connector accordingly. Have also been to onsite client visit to discuss and finalize the requirements.
Implementation and Support: Will attend weekly status calls with the clients to check for any issues/enhancements and customize the connector accordingly. Have also been involved in product installations and have very good knowledge about the best practices/known issues of the product

Roles and Responsibilities:

Build smart connectors for ETL,BI and ELT tools to showcase data lineage and impact analysis across the client environment.

Showcasing the smart connector features and product features to various clients and deploying in their environment.

Handling the clients through all the stages from pre-sales, demo, poc and after sales

Handling a team of people with ETL and java expertise and guiding them through best practices in building the smart connectors.

Project Description:
Evariant is a project based in US where the requirement is to migrate ETL jobs from Informatica to Talend. The entire process is to stratify all the jobs, define the patterns and build CATfx templates to convert the jobs.

Role and Responsibilities:
Create pre analysis and discovery documentation on the jobs.
Create a Talend job which will perform an Informatica Reverse and push all the data from Informatica xml into the Mapping Manager.
Create Talend job which will perform a Talend forward and transform the data from Mapping Manager to Talend.
Build Code automation templates in AMM which will integrate the above Talend jobs which are resuable.
Unit testing of all the converted jobs with sample use case data.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Creating data models, Transform data using Talend, Preparing reports and dashboards as per client requirements.
• Involved in database design and maintaining the data warehouse and data marts.
• Collaborate with Business Analyst team for data specifications (source data and downstream extracts), data analysis, business reference data maintenance and reporting
• Develop reports using reporting tool called BIRT.

Role and Responsibilities:

Creating mappings to retrieve data from web services and store it in our staging area.

Running scheduled jobs through windows scheduler to refresh the data.

Maintaining data marts which are connected to jaspersoft tool for reporting purposes.

The project used to run in agile environment and had releases in sprints.

Mainly involved in ETL developing and creating the mappings and transformations using Informatica.

Worked with heterogeneous sources such as flat files and relational sources .

Involved in requirement gathering and analysis of database design approach.
