- Description The application SCOM-SharePoint, SCOM-SQL, SCCM logs are completely migrating to the Dynatrace Grail Logging. The Dynatrace setup that exists is not serving the right purpose in monitoring the application effectively. StateFarm intends to deploy and configure Dynatrace monitoring solution for SCOM-SharePoint, SCOM SQL, SCCM logs into Dynatrace Grail logs.
- Tools: Dynatrace Oneagent, Splunk,SCOM
- Primary areas of responsibilities:
- Responsible for the Application SCOM migration into Dynatrace Grail logging.
- Worked on EKS, AWS services CloudWatch, lambda logs ingestion into Dynatrace grail.
- Created Dashboard and custom metrics for the application team based on their business needs.
- Created custom alerts and migrated the existing SCOM SharePoint, SCOM-SQL alerts into Dynatrace Grail for the application team.
- Review the DQL application team query and provide suggestions on good practices on how to use DQL for cost-efficiency.
- Walkthrough the status to the application team and the product owner at a biweekly status meeting
- Infrastructure monitoring and full stack monitoring of all the environment
- Dashboards to check on the overall health of applications and schedule them as reports
- Daily Monitoring of the applications to proactively alert in case of any critical issues or slowness
- Provide best practice and recommendations for proactive alerting & incident management and make sure they are implemented.
- Custom alerts for checking the slowness of applications have been created. Thresholds for slowness have been finalized after analyzing historical production baseline data of the application
- POC : Involved on Workflow automation and Open pipeline for large scale data ingestion and transformation.
