• Preparing Storage capacity reports and representation at client deck meetings.
• Creating and managing the remote replication using Metro Mirror and Global Mirror.
• Migrating the data across the Data Centres using Global Mirror technology.
• Volume Migration on Pool level.
• Logging calls and making follow-up with vendor in case of any issues (Hardware & Software). Generating capacity planning report of storage devices.
• Identifying hardware failures and coordinating with vendor until closure.
• Adding/Removing servers from switches, zone management, setting port speed, port performance monitoring.
• Zoning on SAN Switches.
• Upgraded of Cisco MDS and Brocade SAN Switches was performed.
• We have upgraded storage devices such as the FS9500, FS7200, FS5300 and many more.
• Involved in storage provisioning, creating, mapping and resizing the Luns.
• Troubleshooting all kinds of ports, hardware and zone issues.
• Uplift and downsize the NAS volumes.
• Update on the quota's based on the requirements.
• Knowledge on NFS and CIFS exports for NAS configuration and providing quota limits.

• Configure Host and Host Groups on storages.
• Creation of LUNs from Storage and assigning that to Servers.
• Assisting onsite engineer with hardware replacement.
• Monitoring Ticketing tools and Emails.
