Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL)' LuPech Project - A project worth 480 Cr INR which involves Lube integration of petroleum and chemical units of RO-DM, RO-ZLD, CPU, Substation and MEE units for recirculation of refined water into the Indian oil refinery for Lube integration and petrochemical project (LuPech) at Gujarat Refineries.

Responsibilities :

• Managing contractors and assigning the tasks on daily basis
• Progress reviewing and updating on daily basis
• Conducting meeting with sub contractors and explaining the daily plan and execution of the work(TBT and Pep talk)
• Monthly Progress report preparation and submitting to management
• Preparation of QCP, SOP and Method statements for Tank and Piping fabrication and erection works
• Billing Preparation of clients and sub contractors and reconciliation of issued and consumed materials for further certification

Karnataka Power Corporation Ltd (KPCL)'s Water supply project to BTPS Bellary - A project worth Rs 600 Cr which involves in manufacture and supplying to site, laying, jointing, testing and commissioning of MS pipeline of 1630 mm outer diameter, 12 mm thick with Epoxy coating as per specifications and construction of appurtenant works for the water supply pipe line including Intake canal and 2 no's of pump stations with 8 no's of Vertical turbine pumps from Narayanpur Reservoir in Krishna basin to Kushtagi (Length 68Kms) including Electro-Mechanical works.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinated with site personnel, clients and local government officials to achieve on-time project delivery
• Monitored subcontractor operations and applied effective time, resource and money management strategies to delivery under-budget project completion
• Communicated daily with vendors to keep project fully operational
• Reduced costs by driving competitive subcontractor bids and effective contract execution

Davanagere City Commission (DCC)'s 24x7 Water Supply Project - A project worth Rs 760 Crore which involves in replacement of 70 kms of Trunk main supply using DI Pipes & 1160 kms of Distribution network using HDPE Pipes in Davanagere city and urban areas, Construction of 19 new Overhead service reservoir (OHSR), Rehabilitation of 32 existing OHSR and 3 WTPs and in improvement of water distribution services to 0.43 million people with the aim of supplying water to consumer on 24x7 hours a day, 7 days a week basis reduce water losses, improve customer services, network mapping & Network survey for Primary Network of 1240km surveyed, enhance invoicing, and deliver general services in the region

Responsibilities:

• Actively involved in asset survey and data collection related to existing water distribution system in Davanagere urban areas
• Digitization of Asset data of 3 WTP's (Water Treatment Plant), 31 No's OHSR (Overhead service reservoir), 1 No's jack well intake using ropes android application
• Incorporation of asset data into Arc GIS
• Drawing preparation of Pipe alignment, surveyed WTPs and OHSR in Auto CAD
• Look over soil testing works
• Look over the HDPE & DI laying works
• Documentation and Data management

Project Details -

BWSSB's UFW Project (D2a) - A project worth Rs 126 Crore which involves in improvement of water distribution services to 10 million people with the aim of supplying water to consumers 8 hours a day, 7 days a week reduce water losses, improve customer services, network mapping & GIS survey for Primary Network 26 Sq km surveyed in (based on network length in the Zone) North-East and Central zones of Bangalore, enhance invoicing, and deliver general services in the region

Responsibilities :

• Network Survey of 11 North-East District metered areas covering about 6.46 km2 in Bangalore
• Updating the surveyed network into GIS (ARC) to support the case study inside the project area
• Successfully completed identification of the Distribution network of 6.25km2
• Successfully completed the Pressure zero test (PZT) for 11 DMAs, which in turn has opened the possibility of installing 28 district meters
• Operate acoustic instruments like ground microphone, listening stick, leak noise Correlator & Helium gas techniques for leak identification
• Assisting Helium leak detection team for identification of invisible leaks in distribution network
• Identified 693 no's of leaks and rectified the same which in turn has helped to reduce the UFW losses in distribution network
• Supervise level checks, estimate discharge through leaks & monitoring leak repair work followed by re-inspection of the same

Project Details -

BWSSB's UFW Project (D2a & D2b) - A project worth Rs 350 Crore which emphasizes on studying the current domestic water distribution network of 106 kilometers, considering the operations perspective, redesigning the network to reduce unaccounted supplies in the identified municipal zones. It also includes detection of water theft and replacing old and corroded pipes, household connections and meters, and monitor the total supply to each DMA and revenue collection in each month so as to calculate the water loss Unaccounted water supply in the city is nearly 50 per cent of the total supply & the target is to reduce this to 16 per cent.

Responsibilities:

• Water main Survey - Includes study of pipeline elevation, pipe diameter, pipe material, number of branches, number of household connections, and household metering standard (old or new)
• Review the capacity of the water main feeder - Conduct flow measurement, and water pressure analysis
• Conduct Pressure Zero Test (PZT) to isolate the boundaries by using water loggers (Primeyer, UK make)
• Conduct network leak detection using devices like acoustic listening stick, correlation, Hydraulex (PAM-W2)
• District Meters (DM) - Recommend size and specifications (electromagnetic in this case) of DM's, supervise installation of DM's and provide other inputs to design team as required and basics of water gem
• Water Pipeline and Valve replacements & installations - Recommend pipe and valve type (sluice valve) and size, resolve construction queries and prepare valve man instructions
• End fittings & interlinking- Recommend end cap locations to maintain required pipeline pressure and ration the water to defined geography
• Conduct Hydro test for the newly deployed water mains
• Facilitate planning, project design, permitting and construction administration activities as well as developing design reports and construction documents
• Exercise judgment in developing details of work and making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives
