Sapphire is an Adverse Event Reporting System (AERS), which enables authorized Clinical Drug Safety (CDS) personnel to capture, analyze, code and evaluate adverse event cases Sapphire Features. To ensure that CDS continues to fully meet regulatory requirements and to maintain the efficiency of the Global Case Handling (GCH) process, Sapphire is being developed. An enhanced workflow has been provided to the AZ users in Sapphire to enable easier and better use of the case handling tool. Sapphire is a global drug delivery and management system that enables authorized Clinical Drug Safety (CDS) personnel to capture, analyze, code, and evaluate adverse event cases.

• Business logic is generally deployed at the database end, where business rules for different regulatory authorities are developed separately. Business people will provide logic and rules to be implemented for each regulatory authority (for example, FDA, EMEA, MHRA, HC, etc.), and I have been involved in those changes in analysis, development, and deployment phases.
• Involved in upgrading MedDRA and AZDD dictionaries. MedDRA (Medical Dictionary for Regulatory Activities) is a global medical dictionary that will be used by all pharma companies throughout the world. It will be upgraded twice a year. AZDD (AstraZeneca Drug Dictionary) is an internal drug dictionary that will have all drug-related terms in it. It will be upgraded twice a year.

It is a migration project where the database is updated from ADF to Synapse SQL Server.As a result of this migration, the source for dashboard creation will be updated.
