The project is undergoing a transformation program to consolidate all policy and claim management system into a single platform which will harmonize data and customer experience for all its customers under various brands. The program involves migrating data from approximately 35 different systems and bringing it all under one platform ensuring that the Business can simplify their technology back end, harmonizing products and processes that consolidates claim and policy processing capabilities.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Strategize the overall QA process, define/review and ensure the quality of work product deliverables.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

Client is a network of advertising, marketing and consulting companies with offices in 60 countries.

Business purpose of the project is to improve Customer satisfaction by reducing the implementation time for Customer solutions. Objective of the project is to deliver Consumer Engagement Platform(CEP 2.0). CEP 2.0 solution will re-platform CEP1.0 that supports the Customer360 profile use case. Project scope is to perform Analysis & design, Development, Unit testing, System Integration testing, Deployment and Hyper care. Architecture: Source data is received in the form of delimited and fixed width files. Data is related to membership details, policy details etc. File watcher is available to check for file availability. Records from source files are verified for process name, timestamp, record id etc. Based on business rules, records are separated into valid and invalid records. Invalid records are loaded into Error tables in Hive with rejected reason. Loading of valid records and audit entries for valid/invalid records are populated into Phoenix database. Valid records are also published to Kafka and JSON files are generated. JSON files are called through API services and data is loaded into HBase.
