I'm Luke Anderson, I am currently enrolled in the Luddy school of Informatics with a minor in business. I've had multiple accounts of experience when it comes to work. I have volunteered as a church usher since I was in 7th grade. Through this experience I learned how to communicate with all groups of people of all ages. I then worked the summer at a golf course, being a groundskeeper. This job was a great experience as it taught me discipline and valuable teamwork experience. I used machinery and tools that I had never touched before, I believe those skills will benefit me in my future. I was the Philanthropy chair and led a committee that raised over $9,000 for IU Dance Marathon. I am now the Vice president, building and extending a strong brotherhood.
I am a brother of Lambda Chi Alpha, this fraternity is teaching me values of work and brotherhood that will grow with me in the last few years I'm at IU. I hope to continue to grow and build in the Informatics and Business department and I believe this fraternity will give me the connections I need to do that. I want to get more involved and see all sides to IU. I feel this will help build me for my future. In the future I would like to go to the city and get a good internship. An internship will give me good experience to build and grow.
