Twitter Sentiment Analysis & Classification of profiles

A social network user can be identified as a generator, a mediator, or a receptor of information. I constructed a semantic dictionary and classified the tweets into positive, negative, and neutral tones.

Operational Resilience Monitoring Tool

This project focused on developing operational resiliency across the company's various business processes. Some of the processes include business continuity and contingency plans. This fulfilled the audit requirements of the company.

• Automated report generation for specific events, which includes enumerated steps to undertake and handle a contingency.
• Designed workflows to automate email dispatching to integral business service owners during the certification cycle. This resulted in an 80% increase in compliance within the certification cycle.

Certification Cycle for Engineering Services Catalog

This catalog is composed of hierarchical engineering services. A top level service can have multiple sub-services. Each service has linked deployments, classifications, Owners, Tech Risk Officers, and other related attributes.

• Designed new tables to capture intermediate states of the engineering services and related modifications.
• Introduced new REST endpoints to capture modifications and to initiate the certification process.
• Improved low-level design of various email dispatchers. Followed SOLID principles along the way.
• Added complex algorithms to capture owners of engineering services with pending certifications.
• Designed an email template that tabulates ID, readable keys, and owners for addressing their pending certifications.

Capacity Statements Enhancements

Capacity Statements are used to capture any service's storage, processing power, nodes, network bandwidth, key risks and projected growth. These are integral for tracking and projecting new capacity requirements.

• Improved the performance of home page by optimising DB calls and using caching techniques. The performance improved by 50%.
• Worked on Job Schedulers to automate EngSer Cache refresh. We use Procmons for job scheduling here.
• Added a new PdfGenerator for the details page. Used OpenPdf library to build this endpoint. This is used frequently by the MDs and is one of the most popular tools among them.
• Rewrote DB queries to optimise large joins. Added various modifications on the DAO layer. We used JDBI to interact with the DB layer.
