  • Built a Diabetes in Pregnancy Program for our Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic- started ADA accreditation to offer DSMT in addition to MNT, created respective handouts, collected data, and hired staff for our program
  • Handled new patient intake for Maternal Fetal Medicine’s Diabetes in Pregnancy Program. This includes full medical history and virtual education with the patient and staffing with physicians daily for medication management
  • Started patients on CGMs and assisted physicians in interpreting data and billing
  • Trained staff on diabetes supplies and medication handling, ordering, refills, and prior authorizations
  • Worked hand in had with physicians to build and maintain the program that is now able to manage the medications of 50-75 patients with diabetes in pregnancy at any given time. Remained organized and assured every case was addressed at least weekly, allowing me develop rapport with all patients
