9) Service Delivery Manager for Password Project for Financials :
a) Lead the Password Rotation project successfully & completed without major compliance breaches
Scope : Financials team as a whole are responsible for password rotation of more than 120 Proids across 45 GRNs .

b) Human effort of spending is approx. 500 hours of effort every year. So, the scale of leading this critical project, that too, to do it within time, is quite massive and critical and hence needs complete extensive planning & involvement while leading and managing entire team's execution !
c) Reduced 10% on total PROIDs in Feb 2022 cycle, thereby, making the TOIL effort reduction by 100-200 hours per cycle. (13 * 8/16 hours).

d) 4 GRNs were completely cleaned/eliminated up from Password exercise. 100% Effort elimination for 4/45 GRNs. Making the space of Financials 8% overall efficient. Reduced 11 PROD Proids and 2 UAT Proids in this exercise .
e) Continuous 3rd leg where we achieved 10% effort reduction on this exercise, overall making it drop by 30% from the start of 2021 .
f) Improvement in count of PROD Proids is now to 90, 1st time count is count in just 18months of effort .
g) Persistent focus lead to the invention of a Password Automation Project which was enabled for August cycle .
h) Password Automation Project had successful phase 1 completion & had following achievements as mentioned as below :
i) Password change was accomplished in 2 weeks in August which used to take 3-4 months . (It as 6 weeks in last cycle) .
ii) Total effort was approx. 100 hours, down from 250 hours .
iii) All Proids' password are available in RPE Secure vault, firm's secured and preferred storage location, which helped efforts in reducing manual storages into different locations dependency.
iv) Script was created in August cycle for access provisioning & management with the help of secure vault . Access to the teams was sorted by setting correctly Key managers, readers & writers, so that team can access it & store passwords of Proids safely with ease on this hygiene.
v) TCM usage was identified as not mandatory which helped team reducing several weeks of team’s efforts spent on TCM - raising, cloning, approval, window based change approach, giving greater flexibility to do a rotation & was big time saving !

10) Owning Vital applications during crisis :

a) Minimized the risk & stabilized space upon shrinking team size by handling solely vital projects like MCR & MSViz upon exit of senior resources & onsite reduction in force .
b) MCR : Took over ownership and responsibility of MCR application which is reporting to Senior Stakeholders of the firm like CEO,CFO individually .
c) MSViz : Took over ownership and responsibility of MSViz application Operations, which is humongous in term of its usage scale as it is widely used by 3000 plus users across the firm.
d) Provided team bandwidth to focus on Development projects meanwhile being charge of operations myself solely.
e) Single handedly managed the critical outages during APAC, Japan, Mumbai, London region for MCR & MSViz, that too in absence of DEV in that timezone.

11) Established the Mumbai Development team for MSViz & Soft dollar development team with persistent efforts .

12) Worked exhaustively for interviews, worked for double/triple the shifts, extended the shifts for hiring process, for support operations requirements, due to shortage of multiple resources for almost 2 Long quarters or entire half year !!!

3) Password Reset Strategy Kickoff :

  • Began the drive the Password reset project involving multiple Proids of entire Finance applications across UAT, QA & PROD .
  • Rotated PROIDS without breaching compliance.

4) Recruitment :

  • Interviewed candidates for Grad++ program (FTC), FTE program during frequent Recruitment drives in Mumbai .

5) Stress test for Insourcing times of Vendor exit from the Firm.
