Roles and responsibilities:
1. Supporting a ETL mission critical production environment by providing 16x7 diagnostics of issues reported tickets, mail and tech support.
2. Using Service First Now ticketing tool to track and manage the tickets assigned to me and resolve the ticket within the response timeframe.
3. Using Tivoli Workload Scheduler for monitoring the Jobs and Schedules if any X'Matter alert over email and calls came.
4. Depends on Job log will check in backend (UNIX) regarding files missing issues and get in touch with source team until required files received from their end.
5. Raising Standard, Normal and Emergency CR based on L2 team requirements for patching activities.
6. Holding, Releasing and submit the Abinitio jobs Adhocly based BTB team requirement.
7. Performing SOD checks for IMCC and BIDG area to ensure all the flows are working as expected from Unix end. If any real time critical application fails we need to check from Unix end like whether the Graphs (Flows) is working fine or not. If its fails we will restart the failed flows in Primary site.
8. Working on Business incidents by proper tagging to ensure all the customer reported issues are resolved in mentioned SLA.
9. Reviewing and escalating the bugs and enhancement to the respective development team and get fixed from developer depends on priority and severity of bug.
10. Preparing root cause analysis for problems occurred in production.
