Project : Application Operations, Techops is an Application Operations Support Team at JPL which provides manages applications from different Product Line

  • Currently I manage 8 different applications which is a team of 4 members

Responsibilities:

  • Setup new GCP server to migrate existing applications from on premise servers to GCP servers
  • Raise Service requests and Change requests according to the requirements and follow ups to get approvals
  • Responsible for the proper deployment of the code
  • Perform Sanity post deployment
  • Validate the server configuration for the running application and increase the configuration if necessary
  • Monitoring Cron jobs and take necessary actions if there are any interruption
  • Performed work around tasks to manually process the data into DB using Python script
  • Setup applications on monitoring tools like Kibana and AppD to monitor the application performance and see the errors and exceptions
