Reconciliation of Trade , cash, position and Future

• Reconciled discrepancies efficiently and in a timely manner for trades , positions and cash breaks between Geneva and PB statements.
• Performed reconciliation of future accounts , PB accounts for the client.
• Followed up with the Prime Brokers/ Fund Managers to seek clarifications on outstanding breaks, future margins
• Booked accounting entries to resolve breaks related to charges, corporate action, transfer, redemption various fees.

PB processing

• Cautiously monitoring Mailbox to categorize emails.
• Raised issue related to unmated economies of trade to respective parties to get the trade matched and confirmed
• Created new SSI's into the system of different counterparties and prime brokers.
• Confirming trade on a timely basis to send the swift instructions to Safekeeper to further match the trade details with counterparty
• Followed up with counterparties, safekeeper for smooth matching and settlement of trade.
• Informing client about the status from trade booking until the trade settlement
• Accessed bloomberg for referring the Corporation action events break

FX settlement

• Checking with the client on Deliverable FX and NDF on email
• Following with counterparties to match the settlement figures confirmed by client
• Sending swift instructions then following with counterparties for settlements
• Confirming with client for the settling or rolling of next days FX deliverable
• Ensuring the accounting entries are booked in the system and no breaks occur post settlement of trade.
• Performing Daily FX checklist activity to check and notify the respective parties for missing , unmatched near match booking for trade on future Value dates

Payment processing

• Reviewing vendor , management firm payments
• Creating Fund transfer on behalf of client for trading purpose
• Setting up vendor and counterparty, prime brokers account in the system

MIS reports & Training

• Reporting on reconciliation status of daily activities to onshore team
• Running various trade related reports everyday region wise sending the same to senior management
• Sending various reports internally to ensure daily task on performed by team members
• Training new members in the team, assisting queries of them
• Promoting and motivating new joiners make them comfortable with system
