I am currently pursuing my Bachelors in Petroleum Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology(ISM) Dhanbad. I am applying here as I love to delve deep into the technicalities of the different fields of the Petroleum Industry. It would be an honor for me to work under your guidance for a summer internship.

I am always eager to learn about different disciplines, be it sciences or philosophy. I have taken courses on Drilling Technology, Drilling Fluids, Geology for petroleum engineering, Formation Evaluation, Production Engineering, Reservoir fluid Thermodynamics and Geophysical Prospecting. I will attach my gradesheet of my firs year where we had I also find the field of Machine Learning very exciting. I have been learning the concepts of Machine Learning and Deep Learning since the beginning of my college days. I am curious to research on topics like reservoir characterization, enhanced oil recovery, well logs, seismic wave detection, lithofacies detection where I can use machine learning to get a practical knowledge of the theoretical concepts I have learned.


I have gained knowledge about various machine learning concepts for computer vision and natural language processing. I have been building models on various interesting cases using ML algorithms. I devote my time to problem-solving and computer programming. I know C++, C, Python, and Advanced Excel. I can assure you that my skills will surely help me contribute to this field, as well as give myself a good exposure to help me pursue my interests. Apart from academics, I also have an interest in debating, content writing, and public speaking.


I am very enthusiastic when it comes to doing research on Earth Sciences concepts that also incorporate machine learning. I have confidence that if given a chance to work under your guidance, it will be the perfect opportunity for me to broaden my horizons of knowledge and gain experience integrating theoretical knowledge and its application in the industry in your research field.
