Leading ITAM Team and manages the Hardware Asset Management & Configuration Management lifecycle
for all hardware assets globally. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing Astellas’
global strategy for maximizing the value of our hardware assets, including overseeing the planning,
acquisition, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, and retirement of hardware assets.

• Strategic Leadership: Define and execute a comprehensive Hardware Asset Management (HAM) strategy to maximize asset value, minimize operational risk, and optimize total cost of ownership across the hardware lifecycle.
• Oversaw end-to-end hardware lifecycle activities, ensuring effective planning, procurement, deployment, monitoring, maintenance, administration, and secure disposal of all hardware assets.
• CI Lifecycle Management: Own and govern the complete lifecycle management of Configuration Items (CIs) and IT assets within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness.
• Established and implemented CMDB governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures to enhance data integrity and compliance with organizational and industry best practices.
• CMDB Integration & Data Governance: Own the integration between Hardware Asset Management and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to ensure accurate, reliable, and up-to-date hardware CI data, lifecycle status, ownership, and relationships.
• Data Flow: Collaborate with ServiceNow developers, architects, and integration teams to enable seamless data flow between Discovery tools, CMDB, and enterprise systems.
• Negotiation & Contracting: Lead negotiations and manage contracting processes for major hardware purchases to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and compliance with organizational standards.
• Compliance & Risk Management: Partner with relevant DigitalX teams to ensure all hardware assets comply with Astellas policies, security standards, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Tools & Processes Ownership: Own and manage HAM and CMDB tools, integrations, and processes to enable end-to-end lifecycle visibility, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
• Software/Hardware Store Management: Collaborate with End User Computing, Software Asset Management, and other DigitalX teams to design, implement, and manage a user-friendly internal software/hardware store for standardized end-user requests.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, oversee supplier performance, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality hardware products and services.
