Strategy and Planning

• Work with product management teams to create roadmaps for new / existing platforms
• Plan team strength and skills in line with the platform vision and roadmaps.
• Also identify possible technology partners who can help with capacity and capability.
• Establish standards of performance and monitor adherence for staff (through performance review) and partners (through service level agreements).
• Increase code reuse, optimize processes and nurture technological innovation.

Digital Platform Development

• Manage and own the overall development of various digital platforms in the data analytics space.
• Ensure the architecture and tech stack for these platforms are state-of-the-art and long term.
• Ensure a common design approach is followed across different platforms to the extent possible.
• Enable re-use of components / services across the platforms.
• Design and enforce software development standards (i.e. coding conventions, documentation
• standards).
• Ensure the adoption of efficient agile processes and nurture open, empowered teams.

Digital Platform Implementation

• Participate in pre-sales activity by contributing in solution building and pricing.
• Conceptualize the optimal solution by analyzing Client needs and mapping these to platform functionality.
• Interact with Client technology stakeholders to finalize tech stack and deployment architecture.
• Ensure security and compliance with all legal and contractual obligations.
• Ensure health of live applications jointly with the production management team.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage expectations and perceptions of both Clients and internal Business stakeholders.
• Clearly identify expected Client impact. Ensure the same is tracked and achieved.
• Help in identifying risks along with mitigations. Communicate these effectively to stakeholders.
• Put in place governance mechanism for both platform development and implementations.

Team Leadership and Execution Management

• Help overcome roadblocks and technical challenges faced during execution
• Motivate the team and awaken their passion towards achieving the desired technology vision.
• Lead cross functional team members across reporting lines / disciplines like – data engineering, data science, UI/UX, DevOps etc.
• Manage co-execution with external software development partners.
• Supervise recruitment, training, retention and organization of all development staff in accordance with the company hiring process, personnel policies, and budget requirements.
• Roll-up sleeves and do hands-on technical work, if the situation demands.

• Architecting and finding solution to customer problem statement
