Key Role and Responsibilities.

• Choosing the appropriate vendors to procure from, carrying out extensive industry research, meeting with Business Development, and comparing their services and pricing against the benchmarking database.
• Negotiation with suppliers on lead time, cost, and quality to obtain the maximum benefit for the company.
• Ensuring commercial, legal, and contractual compliance in all procurement transactions.
• Ensuring that all potential suppliers are provided with identical information, upon which the quotations are given an equal opportunity to meet the desired requirements.
• Negotiation with suppliers to secure a long-term price lock-in, maximum credit limit/period, and uninterrupted supplies to the stores and clients, as may be required.
• Establishing and negotiating proposal and contract terms and conditions, including delivery, warranty, damages, and insurance.
• Managing the relationship between the Procurement and Accounts Payable functions, as may be needed, to ensure prompt payment to vendors and that proper procurement processes are accomplished.
• Preparing and maintaining procurement schedules and logs for every project. Also, coordinate with all department managers to discuss and update the running project.

• Deep understanding, and a high level of competence in evaluating materials and their key properties, and choosing the most appropriate materials for specific purposes.
• Capable of testing materials, physical and chemical properties, as well as mechanical performance in compliance with the standards.
• Prepared to monitor and maintain the quality level, material specifications, and requirements.
• Experienced in the analysis of reasons for failure, establishing structural designs in order to identify the problem, and solve it.
• Able to effectively engage in the evaluation of suppliers, emphasizing quality assurance, reliability, and performance evaluation as part of supply chain management.
  

• Ability to have competence in technical design, drawings review, accuracy, and compliance with requirements.
  
  Ability to maintain complete site records.
  
  Ability to carry out comprehensive site surveys and issue them out.
  Loyalty to ensuring that all project outputs meet the scope, cost, and schedule, as per the contract.
  
  Ability to provide direct technical assistance and troubleshooting in the field to resolve problems.
