Project name: JLR EP6 Propulsion System Engg

Client : Jaguar Land Rover UK


The Purpose of this project is to derive system requirements by applying MBSE methodology for powertrain and driver mode features and migrating the requirements derived to Requirement Management tool TRM(Dassault Tool)

As a Model Based System Engineer, I am responsible for

  • Getting the stake holder requirements of the feature
  • Creating Context, Use Case and Activity diagrams in MSOSA to depict the high level behavior of the feature based on stakeholder needs
  • Deriving feature level requirements
  • Creating Functional decomposition, LAD to depict the low level behavior of the feature(Solution to problem)
  • Creating state machine or activity diagrams to depict the behavior of the feature
  • Deriving System requirements
  • Requirements Traceability using dependency matrix to ensure 100% coverage
  • Creating SAD(System Architecture Diagram) to allocate logical functions to physical ECUS and logical signals to network signals
