Current Roles and Responsibilities

• Oversees IT Operations ensuring reliability and availability of data centers, infrastructure, and core enterprise applications
• Oversees the Cloud Computing strategy and infrastructure ensuring adherence to ITIL best practices; department procedures; corporate policies; and exceeds the service level expectations of the organization
• Builds a high performing team culture within the teams and encourages individuals to strive for performance improvement
• Works with the Global Infrastructure IT team in which is a major actor in project decision making and implementation
• Retains and develops a successful team to support IT services; provides guidance and direction to the management team. Supervise recruitment, development, retention, and organization of IT Operations staff in accordance with corporate budgetary objectives and personnel policies
• Research, analyze, design, propose and support the delivery of solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Understand, advocate and support Information Technology’s enterprise strategies. Act as visionary to proactively assist in the direction for future strategies
• Daily interaction with team members to keep up to date with planning, implementation of various projects and resolution of any issues
• Operates in accordance with an SLA defined in a way that IT Infrastructure provides resources to support projects.
• Develops the department’s annual budget, as well as manages, tracks, and reports on budget status on an ongoing basis
• Communicates the business objectives, plans, budgets, and performance expectations in order to maximize the individual and collective contributions from the team.
• Prepares and follows-up on expense and capital budgets
• Negotiates, maintains, and complies with software license and maintenance agreements
• Negotiates and maintains vendor and service agreements
• Capacity planning of the enterprise’s data center facilities, server, networking, storage, and backup infrastructure and support
