Ensured suitable routing of aerial fiber to avoid cuts. Planned suitable and safe routes for fiber laying to avoid repetition of fiber cuts. Ensured MTTR for early restoration of fiber cut by lesioning with HFCL, BTSOL. Handled Motorola, E// BTS equipment for O&M of major equipment’s like BSC, XCDR’s (E// Motorola), BTS (RBS 2964, 2954,2111 Horizon II Macro) and Microwave (NEC Paso link, Ericsson Mini Link 23GHz and 15GHz).
- Responsible for Installation, Integration & commissioning of Motorola & E// BTS, BSC’s TRC’s sites.
- Maintaining and making site asset report and outage analysis report of the region. Implementation of expansion in the BSC cabinet (Motorola) and capacity additions at BTS cell sites (Motorola, Ericsson) to cope with increased traffic and utilities in the network. Coordinating with operational team for handling 24 hours Electrical & Power Operations of 423 BTS cell, sites 3 Strategic sites and 5 BSC sites in the network.
- Looking after MSC in Jalandhar by routine maintenance of Power plants (Delta), Battery banks, 6 TRC’ Transmission Equipment’s (Eci Telecom). Timely ensuring the readiness Ater’s b/w TRC’s, Tx. equipment and A-links b/w MSC TRC’s. Coordinating with BTS Vendor Teams Installation, Integration s Commissioning of Cell Sites (BTS s MW).
- Coordinating with Electrical Vendor Teams for Electrical & Power Operations including I&C of DG, Battery Bank, AC, Power Plants for providing uninterrupted Power at Cell Sites.
- Responsible for Supervision and Acceptance testing of activities carried out by Vendors including BTS, Electrical AT and fiber AT. To manage and rectify the routine alarms in the Network to minimize the breakdown and to ensure maximum network availability.
- Responsible for implementation and operation of MW Tx. equipment which includes 23GHz /15 GHz links of NEC/Ericsson.
- Rectification of NW Performance related issues. on Air Interface e.g.-CF alarms, Path Balance problem, High VSWR problems etc.
- Patching and making the requisite E1 available at any site, to bring that site in the network and patching MTLs, to justify the increased traffic carried out by respective BSC. Lesioning with BSNL and other operators for installation, commissioning s regular maintenance of POIs and testing of new POI.
