Key responsibilities as Marketing Director

In charge of TUSQ Group, All Antibiotics + Antifungals

  • Decide Product wise Sales Budget and growth objectives in line with Company objectives as per Budget guidelines given.
  • Prepare and guide reporting managers to prepare Product wise Marketing Plans analyzing previous year performance, defining next year goals w.r.t market share and profits, deciding strategy and outlining all actions to be taken to achieve budget.
  • Guide, develop, train and motivate all Reporting Managers for achieving / exceeding their Product wise Sales Budgets.
  • Review progress w.r.t. Product wise actions/ activities carried out and ensure these are as per approved Marketing Plans.
  • Regularly monitor and track competitor actions vis-à-vis products handled and take necessary counter actions.
  • Identify new products for launch in therapeutic area assigned vis-à-vis current needs of Doctors/patients, market trends and competitor strategies. Coordinate with Medical Dept.
  • Identify development needs of reporting Managers and train themselves / take HR Department help to train and develop them.
  • Work closely with Sales Managers to monitor implementation of product strategies and results thereof.
  • Participate in Manager Conferences and use these as opportunity for training them on product strategy and competitor targeting + review of actions taken and progress vis-à-vis decisions made.
  • To interact and work closely with Training Managers and Medical Department to support training and development of all field personnel.
  • To participate in field training programs to update their knowledge and skills in order to improve their competence on job and help build brands.
  • To periodically carry out field work with ZMs / RMs, so as to help them in strategy implementation, identify reasons for non-implementation / failure of strategies and take corrective actions.
  • To be self-updated with product knowledge and training / development techniques.
