Project: TSRD: Sourcing System which sources data from other systems (e.g Bloomberg, Reuters), cleanses, reviews and publishes for VAR calculation. Data Loader: A backend java process to load huge volume of data from a DB2 stored process to oracle.

Sting Editor: A prototype concept to maintain the life cycle of all the Strings used in setup boxes

Tata sky companion device support:

Profile: Controlling the Tata Sky program guide over companion device like tablets and smart phones.

String Editor:

A web based tool which maintain the life cycle of all the Strings used in setup boxes. A String is a text used to display on the screen for any certain scenario. Strings are multilingual. A String contains id, context and values in different languages.

Technology: Spring MVC. Tomcat, MySQL

Achievements:

• Being a successful mentor and trained experienced new joiners on Agile, MDA, UML, Pacbase and the tools Magic draw and Bluage tool
• Coached many teams and helped them setting up agile process
• Developed innovative tool (using unix shell script) to prepare report on the version number and the deployment date of all the EARs deployed in WAS on different CI environments

RTMS (Real Time Membership System) Modernization:

Profile: Modernization is an approach by an entire Packbase and cobol based application is converted to Java based application without touching core business logic. Precisely Model Driven Development is followed.

Achievements:

1. Award of excellence: Achieved twice for Beta lab delivery and Alpha lab delivery for Open Mobile Java (JSR, TCK and Functional testing)

2. Innovations:

i. Proposed IPR for a common platform and a common solution for Mobile Social Networking.

ii. Designed a web-based prototype for personal finance management service.

3. Developed the Bluetooth search engine (an approach to multi-threaded way) to search fingerprint scanners and display on the screen.

Projects:

• UIDAI AADHAAR Authentication: A R&D project for authenticating Indian resident for different Indian government services (NREGA, Micro ATM, Postal services, KYC complaint for mobile SIM, bank, insurance).
• Centra Repo: A centralized master repository for all the S/W delivery channels to the Nokia consumers. The S/W delivery may be a firmware update, any component update (Java runtime, Web runtime, Maps) or may be a third-party s/w update. The repository also contains the metadata information along with binaries of the S/W to be delivered.
• JSR Testing for S60 Java release 2.0: I was responsible for the JSR certification and quality of Java Bluetooth API (JSR-82) and Java Sensor API (JSR-256).

Achievements:

• Log parser engine, a special parser engine we developed for one our US client, which parses the web log file and gives the relevant information’s. Client had given a target of 3 hours to parse 10 million (more than 1GB) record in a 5GB RAM Linux box. But we were able to parse 10 millions of record in 1hr 20 mins in a 2GB RAM Linux box. I was the core member implementing and fine tuning the prototype. This gave me a good experience on HTTP protocol.
• Collation server, a robust application for real time web log capture. I was able to design and prepare a running prototype for the application within 3 months where I was assigned unlimited time having 3 members in the team. Two of them quit the job still I was alone able to develop the prototype. And latter I leaded the total module.

Project :

• Real time Data Collation Server: Collation Server is to fetches data from log file of remote HTTP Server and store into a database.
• Netwatch Enhancements: Netwatch is a web application developed for Rediff to get a daily report (both in tabular and graphical form) of the active users for websites advertised by Rediff.
